Sue Fisher graduated with a degree in Biology from the University of Chicago and received her Masters in Environmental Studies from Cal State Fullerton. Before coming to CSUF in 1991, she worked in Seattle for six years doing cancer research at the world-renown Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center. She served as the Cal State Fullerton’s Radiation and Bio-Safety Officer for 18 years before assuming her current position as the Emergency Management Coordinator in the University Police Department in 2009. Sue is involved with several county and state-wide emergency management committees, an International Emergency Management Association Member, and a certified Red Cross First Aid and CPR trainer for professional rescuers. She is a frequent presenter on a variety of emergency preparedness topics on campus and in the local community.
